The City of New Bedford has asked Pilgrim United Church of Christ in conjunction with Mercy Meals and more to keep the Temporary Emergency Shelter open until Sunday morning. Due to this request they are asking for public donations of Styro-foam bowls, plastic utensils, sandwich meat, cheese, soups, pastries, fruit, pudding cups and/or anything else we can use to help feed those who come through the door. They are also in need many volunteers to help man the shelter hours.
